Housed within the building which was once The Westminster County Courts, The Courtrooms is certainly a place steeped in a sense of history and tradition, which is why it can now lend itself so well to a wedding, following its elegant conversion into a bar, restaurant and multi-purpose event space in 1996. There is a fantastic suite of rooms to choose from for the reception, adding up to offer a total capacity of 250 in all, and being a mere minute from Leicester Square station, it’s also well connected. 

Emmanuel Centre

Emmanuel Centre is a Grade II listed building which dates back to 1928, when it was designed by the world-renowned architect, Sir Herbert Baker. The elegant marble foyer, high vaulted ceilings with Bible inscriptions, and the imposing columns all accumulate to bring an abundance of atmosphere to this one-of-a-kind space. Found in the very heart of Westminster, it’s surrounded by a plethora of good rail links, including St James’s Park, Pimlico and Victoria.

Built in 1929 and now with official Grade II listed status, Conway Hall in Holborn has long been a hallmark of London’s intellectual, political and cultural life. The Main Hall is famed for its fantastic acoustics, meaning it’s well-suited to live performers; good news when it comes to planning entertainment for the reception. It also retains many of its period features for that instant hit of tradition, and can accommodate up to 400 guests when spread across the balcony and main floor.
