The Lensbury in Teddington, South West London is an incredibly flexible offering, with a range of spaces both contemporary and stylish in finish that allow it to play host to everything from conferences to water sports. In terms of wedding receptions, there is in fact a special offer running until 31st May 2017 which, amongst other great discounts, includes a very nice 50% off the cost of the ceremony room hire and £50 off the cost of your evening buffet, making this an even more tempting proposition.

The main space, The Jerwood Hall, can accommodate up to 220 guests at a formal seated dinner or 450 for a more relaxed standing reception. Technical equipment and tailor-made lighting packages are also available if required, which will help show off this amazing space at its very best.

Offering guests a truly immersive atmosphere like no other they are likely to find, Tower of London has more than 1000 years of history held within its thick stone walls. So culturally significant is this venue, it is a World Heritage Site, and it has the added bonus of a fantastic riverside location that offers great views of the palace and the Thames itself. Tower Hill, Monument and London Bridge are among the nearest transport links, all comfortably reachable on foot.

East Wintergarden

In contrast, Canary Wharf’s East Wintergarden is a much more modern building, with its most distinguishing feature undoubtedly the 27-metre high domed glass ceiling, which serves not only as an arresting sight but a source of lots of natural light and a bright, airy feel within the main space. The Gallery above this main floor can be hired separately, as can the Promenade Room for more intimate gatherings, with the venue’s total capacity a very generous 1250.

Stoke Newington Town Hall
