North London is packed full of all sorts of great venues, ideal as alternative spaces for seminars in their own unique and interesting ways. Here are just a few of our favourites to help you narrow your search.
Square Suite is a multi-purpose, blank canvas space comprised of two rooms; an events and enterprise room and a photography and media room. This brand-new offering has a distinctly modern flair, with the simple, clean finish providing both a contemporary edge and the scope to kit the space out accordingly. With an intimate capacity of just 60, it’s well suited to a more personal and involved gathering, whilst the nearest rail links include the likes of Woodford and South Woodford.
If it’s something considerably more generous in proportion that you need, Allianz Park is well worth considering. Made up of several conference suites, this Hendon based venue can accommodate capacities of anywhere between 10 and 1200, with all of the available spaces providing access to state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment, whilst also benefitting from good natural lighting and air conditioning for maximum comfort. The Events Team can provide you with both planning assistance and competitive day delegate rates.
Islington Assembly Hall boasts an enviable blend of old and new sensibilities, with the stunning art deco features of the 600-capacity building sitting in contrast with the high spec equipment and facilities. An onsite kitchen and breakout spaces add flexibility and convenience, whilst the experienced in-house team ensure everything runs without a hitch. As for getting there, Highbury & Islington, Angel and Essex Road stations are all within comfortable walking distance.
For an aesthetically-led space, look no further than London Art House, which provides a range of spaces that are as visually stunning as they are practical and efficient. Each room is highly stylised, with incredible attention to detail throughout the sumptuously bold and bright styling, creating an immersive and welcoming vibe. There’s a generous capacity of 625 on offer in all, and Essex Road station is a mere 5-minute walk away.
Total Tottenham Events is a relative newcomer to London’s events scene, having opened in 2017. This impressive loft-style warehouse studio space is sure to quickly cement its reputation as a great and much sought-after venue however, with a boxing gym and a good-sized studio making it one of the city’s more unique offerings. There are free parking facilities and both Hornsey and Harringay stations can be reached in around 10 minutes or less on foot.
Big Sky Studios is made up of 2 highly flexible main studio spaces, with a combined total of 949 square metres of floor space and a capacity of more than 650. The 5 additional smaller areas also at your disposal serve as fantastic prep space or breakaway areas, ideal should you wish to organise the likes of group work or brainstorming sessions alongside the seminar itself. If you’re traveling via rail, the nearest stations are Caledonian Road and Kings Cross.
