The Albany has a rich history as a theatre, performance and music venue, but in recent years has been branching out and cementing its reputation as a great all-round arts and business destination, hosting everything from fashion shows to conferences, with South East London’s cultural diversity always at the forefront of what they do. Based in Deptford, this vibrant and welcoming offering has a very generous maximum capacity of 1000, and is just 2 minutes from the nearest rail link.

The Lighthouse first opened as The Regal Cinemas in 1940 and has gone through a number of guises since then, before being recently refurbished to allow it to function as a multi-purpose event space. Now Grade II listed, many of its original art deco features remain intact, granting the space a wonderful sense of grandeur, sophistication and a timeless beauty. This strong aesthetic pull coupled with the venue’s new state-of-the-art facilities has seen it quickly create quite the buzz amidst the city’s event’s scene.

Unique and visually striking architectural touches and design features can be found throughout InSpire, a Walworth based venue that is comprised of a large community hall and several additional rooms. Operating as an arts and community charity, they are a warm and friendly destination, and can turn their hand to many a different occasion. The capacity allows for up to 200 guests to attend, and the nearest transport options include Elephant & Castle and Kennington tube stops.

The bright, modern feel and the understated elegance of the interior enhance this adaptability. North Greenwich is the closest tube station, and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

Brick walls, wood floors and luxurious furniture are complimented by large wildlife prints, green palms and banana trees, whilst the good-sized windows ensure there’s plenty of natural light. With a capacity of just 45, it’s very well suited to more intimate gatherings, where a personal approach and plenty of participation is encouraged.
