Unique corporate venues in South London

South London is home to some of the city’s most unique venues suited to a corporate occasion. Here are a few of our favourites.

Pop Brixton

Utilising otherwise disused land, Pop Brixton is a creative space targeted particularly towards independent businesses, having served as the setting for all manner of corporate events. There are various different spaces available for private hire, giving you a range of options when it comes to configuring the scale and layout of your event. Chief amongst these is Pop Box, a triple height space made from old shipping containers that leads onto The Main Square for a mix of both indoor and outdoor space.

Asylum Chapel

As a Grade II listed building dating right back to 1826 that survived bombing raids in WWII, leaving it in a distinctly distressed style, it’s certainly fair to say that Asylum Chapel is not lacking in any way, shape or form when it comes to character. As a backdrop for your event, it would be visually striking and would go a long way towards setting the tone and ramping up the atmosphere. Flexible in its use, the capacity allows for up to 150 people to attend.

ABO Lounge

Found in the iconic O2 in the Greenwich area, and just a few minutes from the nearest tube stop, the Lounge at All Bar One puts you right in the hub of the city, making it easy to reach from far and wide. Spread across a total of three floors and able to take capacities of up to 400, they have played host to everything from product launches to canape receptions and from weddings to conferences, with the simple yet stylishly modern interior adaptable enough to suit a myriad of occasions.

Bermondsey Social Club

Tucked under a railway arch on a quiet street in the Bermondsey area, around ten minutes from the tube station of the same name, Bermondsey Social Club is licenced until 1am through the week, and until 4am on Fridays and Saturdays, meaning it’s an especially good choice if you were planning a late-night party. With the capability of hosting live music performances, organising entertainment shouldn’t pose any problems either.

Tropical Library

If instead you want a space that is a little more refined and calming in its vibes, Tropical Library could be just what you are looking for. The brick walls, wood floor and luxurious furniture give it a warmth that instantly makes the space feel welcoming, whilst the impressive selection of books, wildlife prints and plants add intrigue. With a capacity of just 45, it’s ideal for a more low-key gathering.

The Square Gallery London

The Square Gallery London is a light, bright and airy venue with a contemporary feel that most often serves as a space for art exhibitions. As such, it is something of a blank canvas, able to be transformed and tailored to suit each individual user’s needs. Its great location in the heart of Battersea Square means it is surrounded by fantastic local amenities, such as cafes, bars and restaurants, including Gordon Ramsey’s London House, should you want to head out to unwind following the event.
