If you’re looking for late night fun then look no further. The Social has a 4am license on Fridays and Saturdays for private parties – so perfect for Christmas celebrations. Tucked under an arch, their secret garden is one of London’s hidden gems, and it feels like an idyllic little getaway – even though the jubilee line is only 10 minutes walk. This venue is super popular so make sure you drop them a line sooner rather than later and secure your festive shindig!

Check it out here: The Exhibit
The Exhibit is one of Balham’s most popular all day drinking and eating spots for a reason. It’s a great space for your guests to enjoy a fancy drinks reception or sit-down meal, but also somewhere you can dance the night away.

Check it out here: The Jam Tree
As a very spacious and flexible venue, The Jam Tree in Clapham works really well for any type of party or function. It’s lucky enough to have several private rooms and a beaut garden, so it works well for parties that are on the larger side too. Each of the Jam Tree venues are well-known as popular hangouts in their areas, and the Clapham establishment is no exception.

Check it out here: Fu Manchu
Another Clapham favourite, Fu Manchu can be found in Clapham North under two railway arches. This gives the space a cool and cosy feel, made even cooler by the state-of-the-art sound and lighting system they’ve got going on. Whether it’s a sit-down private dinner party you’re after, or a full on club style night, Fu Manchu has the looks, the atmosphere and the experience to help you host a cracking Christmas party.

Check it out here: King of Ladies Man
King of Ladies Man is a 1970s-inspired cocktail bar which gets its name from the iconic US sitcom, ‘Cheers’. It’s a unique venue from the entrance onwards, as it’s hidden away via a laundrette in The Breakfast Club in Battersea. For those of you that are familiar with The Breakfast Club, you’ll see similarities in its kitsch and fun-filled feel and atmosphere – ideal for a Christmas bash!

Check it out here: Adventure Bar, SW11
There are a few Adventure Bars in South West London; one in Battersea, one in Clapham (and also one in Central London if you fancy looking there too). All the Adventure Bar venues are great for a Christmas party, but hey, we’re talking about the more Southern destinations. This one is not far from Clapham Junction, making it an easy commute for all your guests.
