The Pavilions, Mile End Park, is a centrally located venue that’s easily accessible from the park, and is surrounded by lovely greenery and water. There are floor to ceiling windows in this more than 5,100 square foot facility, and room for up to 260 guests inside, with near limitless space in the park proper. The West Reservoir Centre at Stoke Newington rests on the banks of one of London’s most picturesque lakes. It’s a large and impressive structure from the 1930s that was originally built as a filter house for the reservoir, but has since been converted to an event venue and water sports facility. Inside you’ll find towering ceilings supported by massive iron and steel finished in white, with immaculate flooring, and large full length windows throughout that bathe the space in light. Outside you’ll be able to easily park on one side, while enjoying kayaking, sailing, and even open water swimming on the lee side of the facility. As for getting there via public transport, Etchingham train station is your best bet, being just a 6 minute drive away.
