Barts Hospital is opening its exquisitely restored North Wing to the public. Host your event in style in the heart of historic London and enjoy exquisite catering for everything from a buffet to a banquet. is home to the magnificent historic interiors of the Great Hall and Hogarth’s staircase, built as the central focus of architect James Gibbs’ rebuilding of St Bartholomew’s Hospital in 1732.
It is a spectacular 18th-century building located in the City of London. It was completed in 1734 and features the Great Hall, one of the most beautiful banqueting spaces in London, as well as the a grand staircase, decorated by the leading artist William Hogarth.
On 6 October 2025 the venue reopened after a major £9.5m restoration project, led by Barts Heritage and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund. The works covered repairs to the exterior and the conservation and redecoration of the interior spaces, including new lighting, heating and catering facilities. The building will be open to the public and also available for private hire. Capacity is 200 for a sit-down lunch or dinner and 400 for a standing reception.
